Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 11th, 2026
Stella is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using Stella, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect information you provide when registering, such as your name and email address, as well as payment information processed securely through our payment provider. We also collect usage data, device information, and crash reports automatically to help us maintain and improve the service. Captures are stored on our servers only if you have cloud backup enabled. Local-only captures never leave your device.
We use this information to provide and improve the service, process payments, respond to support requests, and send you important account notices. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the service, all of whom are bound by confidentiality agreements, and with legal authorities when required by law.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Cloud captures are deleted immediately upon account deletion. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, though no method of storage is completely secure.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain types of processing. To make a request, contact us at hello@stellaapp.com and we will respond within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Stella after that date constitutes acceptance. For any questions, reach us at hello@stellaapp.com.
